§ 22-186. Inspection.

  • Before being used to supply water for human consumption, all newly constructed wells shall be inspected for compliance with the requirements of this article and tested for yield and capacity as outlined in section 22-189. A well for public water supply shall be inspected and approved by an authorized representative of the county environmental health section. If repairs to a well necessitate breaking the well's seal, the well shall be chlorinated upon completion of the repair.
